About This Site
This site was opened October 3, 2003, but the site began to take off November 2003 so I use that as the site’s anniversary. We were briefly at my original domain, dearisobel.net, before going to paper-cup.org that fall. Becca and Brianne graciously offered to host me on their server so I was able to move to a domain in the spring of 2004 and it has been on its own domain ever since. We are currently hosted at DreamHost.
I’ve adored Becky since 1997, when I first saw her on General Hospital. The character of Elizabeth was only 15, two years older than I was at that point so I felt like I kind of grew up with her so after opening an Alicia Leigh Willis fan site as an experiment (that a non fan could do a much much better job than the current fans, lol) I knew I wanted to do this site.
About Me
My name is Melissa. I’m 24 and from South Jersey. I’m a college student, studying history and French in hopes of teaching both in a high school setting. If I can ever manage to graduate — it’s taking forever! I love watching movies, reading, hanging out with my best friend Jackie and her one-year-old toddler. I also like designing websites (I enjoy coding them more than I like actually designing the graphics, but usually you can’t have one without the other.) I have a few different projects, which you can learn about at Dear Isobel, my blog.
